Privacy policy and terms of useThis state-of-the-art complex was the product of a four-year collaboration between White Mark, acclaimed architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), and music industry visionaries Ann Mincieli (longtime engineer and collaborator with Alicia Keys) and entrepreneur Charles Goldstuck. Together, they set out to create a recording environment that would meet the highest professional standards while offering artists a tranquil and inspiring setting unlike any other
White Mark was responsible for the full acoustic and technical design of the 7,500-square-foot facility, which includes a flagship control room, a live room with two vocal booths, and five additional satellite studios. The main control room features a 48-channel SSL Duality Delta console, custom Exigy monitors, and a hand-selected array of high-end outboard gear—combining classic analog warmth with cutting-edge digital capability.
The Sanctuary’s design is as striking as its technology. The main live room, clad in white oak and filled with natural light, opens directly onto the marina, offering panoramic views of docked mega yachts and turquoise waters. This architectural openness is paired with White Mark’s renowned precision in acoustic planning, ensuring every space sounds as good as it looks.
Beyond its technical excellence, The Sanctuary is envisioned as a creative and educational hub. It has already attracted globally renowned artists, with recording sessions by Alicia Keys, Shania Twain, and Nipsey Hussle among its early highlights. Committed to fostering new talent, the studio also partners with institutions such as Berklee College of Music and the Bahamas Youth Foundation, offering scholarships, training programs, and academy-style workshops for aspiring engineers and producers from the region.
